Meet the Team

Jeff Betten

Currently serving as general manager for Misra Records (with previous experience managing Wild Kindness Records, another label now under the Misra Label Group), Jeff Betten has been a key behind-the-scenes figure in independent music for years. Jeff is not only a member of The Recording Academy (the governing board of the Grammys), but also a board member of AYA cancer charity CureRock, former treasurer of legendary punk venue The Mr. Roboto Project, as well as a musician in his own right, occasionally releasing projects under his name whenever he finds time.

Mara Meyer

Coming to Misra as an intern from Point Park University’s Sports, Arts & Entertainment Management program, Mara quickly distinguished herself and made herself indispensable. Mara is now in charge of Misra’s social media messaging across all platforms and is also a distinguished project manager as well. Whether she’s pitching PR for Sun Seeker, building a new website for Jonny Goood, or livestreaming a release show for Gabriella Salvucci, Mara makes Misra run!

Connor Murray

A native of Baltimore, Connor is a brilliant mind that came to Misra while still an undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh. Having spent several years now as a member of the Misra Label Group (and with past experience also working at Wild Kindness Records), Connor has an extraordinary knack for A&R as well as project management - and he doesn’t mind working the merch table either. Known for his tireless energy, Connor has more than earned his nickname as the “Energizer Bunny” of Misra!

Jordan Montgomery

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Jordan Montgomery came into Misra’s orbit thanks to a 2018 Music Ecosystem Study conducted in the city, and now serves as both an A&R representative and project manager. A man with deep passion for music as well as his community, Jordan is a musician himself as well, releasing albums and performing under his own name - proving once again that the Misra Label Group was created for musicians by musicians!

JT Fitzgerald

JT says that he cares when no one else does, and he does all he can in his dual roles in both A&R and project management. He’s here to promote bands and give them a shot - or at least a fighting chance. Born, raised, and still thriving in Rochester, JT is the former WITR production director and is the current host of the radio show Under the Big Black Sun on WAYO 104.3 FM.

Isaiah Ross

Isaiah is the newest member of the Misra family, joining us as an A&R representative and as a project manager. Isaiah is also the lead singer and guitarist for the band Jack Swing, in addition to performing as a side musician in several other bands as well.

Chase Gregory

A native of Pittsburgh now living in Nashville (having graduated from Belmont University), Chase is in charge of negotiating synchronization licenses for the Misra Label Group. If you’ve ever heard one of our artists’ songs on a TV show, in a movie, in a commercial, or really anywhere else, you can thank Chase! Coming to Misra from Sun Records (yes, *that* Sun Records!), he brings with him a list of industry contacts a mile wide. In his spare time, Chase also plays in the bands Lukr and Circuit Saga.

Paige Conner Totaro

Paige Conner Totaro is an entrepreneur, a social media influencer, and a snappy dresser. As a co-founder and partner at Misra, Paige brings her experience with financial oversight, strategic planning, and executive management to the table. Previously, as a longtime board member and executive director of Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts, Paige was an advocate for the rights of creators and creative entrepreneurs. Paige is a fan of Scandinavian design, Ethiopian food, Canadian hospitality, Japanese vintage stores, Brazilian music, and Thai beaches - but also American gin, garage rock, and roller derby.

Michael Bracy

Our founder emeritus, Michael Bracy is also a partner in the public/government affairs firm Bracy Tucker Brown & Valanzano. As co-founder of the Future of Music Coalition, he was central to expanding and protecting noncommercial radio and elevating net neutrality as a widely recognized public policy concern. An expert at the intersection of culture and policy, Michael has represented and advised a wide range of leading arts and cultural institutions including NPR, American Ballet Theatre, Fractured Atlas, Colorado Creative Industries, and Native Public Media.
